Dynamic lightning affecting character tokens differently on the map

Hello, since couple of months, me and my group have been using dynamic lightning, and we are super happy so far. Yesterday I encountered a peculiar "problem" and I don't know what is the cause of it. I put "problem" in air-quotes as it is not game breaking or anything, just a bit strange. I set the map to "explorer mode" and "update on token drop". I added multiple torches, through the toolbar, around the map to simulate origins of light, giving them a slight green hue. The goal was to have a night fight, but still provide dim-light level of illumination, as shown in the image attached. What I encountered is that all tokens were "colored" or affected by the sources of light, except for one, the token of an NPC, following the players. Does anyone know what could be the reason for this behavior? Thank you

You have likely specified yourself as a controller on the NPC that is not washed out. If you leave it at the default (no specified controller), it will become washed out when near too many tokens with light and sight. FWIW, tinted light (and vision) do not mix well. It's best to use them sparingly. You may get unexpected results (as above).

Regarding the tinted light, I see what you mean, but I was experimenting and trying to provide a suiting atmosphere for the party. I did notice that the light from the different sources overlapped and became stronger in a way. I will try to adjust it and take more care later on, still need to tinker a bit :)
I’d suggest using a  Mood lighting token aura  instead of colored light.
