Princes of the Apocalypse official Marketplace module

Hi all, I purchased the official content from the Marketplace to save me a lot of time, especially as the latest patch adds Updated Dynamic Lighting. I started a new campaign with the module selected, but cannot see the Dynamic Lighting options on any of the page settings (cogwheels), nor a Dynamic Lighting layer on the tabletop. I created new tokens associated with NPC cards for my players but they have 100% view of every map, making the module experience extremely poor. Some help would be appreciated!

It looks like you have a free account, since there is no Plus or Pro label by your account name.  Free accounts don't have access to dynamic lighting.  The maps have the dynamic lighting lines on the dynamic lighting layer, but you don't have access to that feature without a paid account.  You can still use Fog of War to restrict what players see and then reveal what you want them to see as they go.

Dynamic Lighting is a Pro/Plus feature of Roll20. The free version has fog of war, where you can obscure a map and reveal parts of it manually. I like its simplicity: I have Pro but will sometimes choose to use fog of war instead of dynamic lighting. Alternatively, you can move monsters and other surprises to the GM layer, and only move them to the token layer when your players come within range. Edit: You are not the first person to assume that buying a module will give you access to dynamic lighting, and I think that has to do with how items are described on the Marketplace. The description for Princes includes the phrase " More than 20 battle ready maps enhanced with Dynamic Lighting". Better, and less misleading, would be: "More than 20 battle-ready maps *compatible* with Dynamic Lighting, *a Pro/Plus feature of Roll20.*"
