I'm interested - what level do the characters need to be?

Level 8. This should allow for flexibility in creating your characters while keeping the character creation time down.

Hi Smethane, I've just left a post in the Looking for Group posting. My bi-weekly Sunday game just got bumped until later in the evening, so that opens me up to being able to play this. Cheers, Steve

I'm interested. I could start putting together a character. Just not sure what to play yet... What is the point buy and how do you handle hit point rolls? Gold for equipment? Also, what books/sources can we use?

(1) standard wealth for Level 8 (ie 33,000gp) (2) 20 point buy, with level increases at 4th and 8th (3) two traits (4) HP: Max HP at level 1, average hp from then on. So a fighter gets 10 at first level and 6 every level after that (paizo have wierd rules for average health. if your HD is: D4 = 3hp, D6: 4hp, D8 = 5hp, D10 = 6hp D12 = 7 Can't remember if barbarians are D10 or 12.... whatever, you get the idea? Anything on the Paizo PRD is fine (but no third party stuff, or the new upcoming advanced class guide). Only additional restriction is no guns. The other two people I have so far are a barbarian and a cleric. Whether that affects your choice of class is up to you, just letting you know :)

And just as an FYI so there is no confusion, the game time is actually 5:30 PM BST (ie 1730 BST). For those others in North America, that would be the equivalent of 1230pm EST. Looks like we still need players, so hoping others will
