I am a DM for 5e games. I am sharing my compendiums I bought with my players but they are seeing options from my books that I can not. Like the EK options. Anyone know what's going on?
If the non-D&D game they are in was created by someone who has those other compendium sources, they can see them. When you share, you share ALL compendiums, not just the one from that game.
I own the books that I can not see but my player who is in other games is also only in games I host no others. when I try to create npcs the options don't show up
Check where they are referencing the info from. If it is in-game, they should see only the compendium sources you have activated for that game. If they are on the web page, they will see the entire compendium that you have purchased. This will be true for you as well.
