LFG 5e D&D - New player [Weeknights/Weekends EST]

Second attempt at finding a group this month :) I'm new-ish to D&D. Only played a couple of one-shots with friends from other games. I'm now looking to find a weekly game where I can learn and find some fun people to play with. Paid is fine if it means additional game quality and security. I'm 35, Canadian (EST) and have been a long time fan of Critical Role and Dimension20. (about 3+ years) Would be great if I could get in at session zero cause I would need help to build a character, and would love to get in on the first floor. Looking to play something melee like a fighter, barbarian or monk. Ideal play times would likely be 3 hours starting around 6 or 7 PM EST on a weekday or anytime on a weekday. My Discord is Oreo#9111 - better chance to see messages and respond there :) Also if needed, I have Roll20 Pro
Hey Oreo your tail end of your next to last paragraph is confusing do you mean to say 3 hours around 6:00 or 7:00 p.m. EST on a weekday or anytime on a weekend?
Intro Pitch Welcome to the worlds beyond, the great wheel of the cosmos! Where else can a poor sod mingle with mighty minions of the great powers, sail the astral ocean in a stolen Githyanki void cruiser, visit the flaming courts of the City of Brass, or even battle fiends on their home turf? All these adventures and more await as the campaign sprawls across the Planes in a very sandbox oriented play-style. However, a looming threat grows that the players will soon discover. The party will be asked to find the pieces of an ancient relic that have been hidden throughout the multiverse, crafted by a long-dead god. With this, the players may decide the fate of Sigil and feel the effects of their choices ripple across the Planes. A Bit About Planescape Tired of your average, every-day, euro-centric medieval-style D&D games? Well you’ve come to the right place! Sigil, the City of Doors, will be your home away from home. You can find everything here, from pet stores that sell miniature giant space hamsters to mindflayers and beholders casually strolling down the streets. Sigil is the center of the multiverse, after all. Races, classes, cultures, and everything in between mingle here in varying amounts of tenuous harmony. I have players from Faerûn, Eberron, Exandria, the Feywild, the Elemental Plane of Fire, and even one from a custom- near-future sci-fi setting! Just about anything goes in Planescape, with only your imagination (as well as the game's balance and my already fractured sanity) as the limit! About the Games I Run I typically run sandbox-oriented games with content that ranges from custom settings homebrewed for specific groups to WotC official modules. I’ve done everything from gritty realism and gothic horror where death is waiting for the party around every corner, to slap-stick comedy games that have the entire party in stitches. Everything depends on the group and what they enjoy and hope to get out of the experience. Times and Dates I'm pretty open all the time, so hit me with times and dates and I'll do my best to set you up with a group! If you already have a group I will work with whatever works best for your group! A Bit About Me Thanks for reading this! My name is Kamon and I'm currently a professional DM who's been honing my craft for over a decade. I started out with 2nd Edition AD&D, and have since played and DM'd 3.5, 5e, as well as GM'd all the White Wolf games, Mothership, Pathfinder 1e, and a smattering of others. TTRPGs are my passion, and I'm hoping to make a career of sharing my passion with others! I've mastered Dynamic Lightning and have a good grasp of API's and macros to streamline the playing experience and bring my worlds to life. I do use a bit of homebrew, but it's largely optional and only meant to speed up combat and bring more flavor into the game. Anything I implement is up to player discretion, because at the end of the day we do this to have fun, and I work my hardest to facilitate that fun. Additionally, I do a plethora of voices and some sound effects to enhance the experience. I'm always learning and trying new stuff, so my games will only get better as time progresses. If you'd like references, I have a good list of people who will vouch for my professionalism, ability to immerse my players in the world, and proficiency with Roll20. Obligatory Paid Game Stuff If you like what you've read and want to give me a shot, I'd love to talk with you! My current rates are as follows, assuming a session length of 3 hours… $15/person for groups of 6 via Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal $17/person for groups of 5 via Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal $20/person for groups of 4 via Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal …if you’re a single person wanting to join a group, or have a group of less than six and don’t mind playing with some extra folks, I will always try to match up people and form groups of 6! The more people in the group, the less I can charge! This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of < see above >. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Original Post https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/323862/planescape-5e-the-ladys-key-levels-3-10-part-1-of-3
Greetings from the western side of Canada (British Columbia)! I am presently putting the finishing touches on an Empire of the Ghouls (D&D 5E) by Kobold Press campaign. The game will run weekly on Thursdays starting at 4PM PST/PDT and run three hours . I estimate this is a long campaign lasting several months to a year, levels 1-13 or 15. Player options will include Underworld Players Guide - underworld races like derro, dhampir, darakhul, etc. Note: This might not be the game for you if you have issues with violence, racism, slavery, mental illness, cannibalism, blood, body horror, eldritch horror, dismemberment, seduction, and the removal of personal agency. This is a very dark game. If something comes up, however, there are safety tools in-game. My goal is to launch in the next couple of weeks . We will have a free session zero , then to continue into the game, a one-time donation of anything from my wish lists will be expected (although I might change my mind on that requirement). I'll let you know when I announce the game to the LFG forum, and if you are interested, you can throw your hat into the ring.
