Greetings! Have you ever wanted to try a game or system but lacked the materials? Have you ever went looking for a game only to find it was paid or the DM was kinda creep, or simply filled? Then read below and you might find yourself a solution. Roll20 is the primary avenue of where all games shall be hosted. Thank you for taking interest in post, my name's Chaos not God-given but it does lol, regardless I have been a DM on Roll20 for about 8-9 years now, and have run various systems from A Song of Ice and Fire to DnD to Dark Hersey, and after running so many games you can imagine one wants to play as a player, a likewise problem for many of friends. But, as you can imagine finding the right game or the right player's can be a hassle. On Roll20 it can really be a roll of the dice with the people that apply to your games or applying to the pool with your fellow players. So, I thought why not make it easier for everyone involved, and so I made the  CDR  or  Chaos's Discordant Server  a place dedicated to RP and TTPRPG. It is an active community and a growing one, with 54 members currently 6 DMs and 48 players, we have various systems active at any time or place. Current active games on server include Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition, Warhammer 40k Dark Heresy 2nd Edition, Chronicles of Darkness 2nd Edition, and multiple games in planning by our various DM's. Currently we are looking for both Game Masters and Players to keep the server active and eventually reaching my goal of having a game every day of the week. If interested in joining a growing community of fun and mostly mature individuals who are united to playing TTPRPG's and take part in infinitely more games look no further and please apply. We simply ask that you do adhere to a few  requirements.  If interested in joining please keep in mind as I said above this is a mature server meaning language and innuendo do come up and as such would like you to be 18+ to join. Games are either Voice or Text Based depending on DM with most games currently being Voice based. We ask that upon joining the Discord you read the  Server Rules , follow the instructions, and then post in  Rules tab  you have read them. Upon joining the Discord please state which system you are currently looking for to be assigned appropriate role. And if wanting to DM you'll need to wait as we have a kinda max as we build our player pool, but we will have room for more eventually. Current Games on our Server - With More Currently recruiting Vampire the Requiem 2nd Edition: City of Fallen Angels run by  Chaos Warhammer 40k Dark Heresy 2nd Edition: The Spiraling Towers run by Chaos Mage the Awakening 2nd Edition: The Refugee Chronicles run by  Darkaxis Dragon's Fifth Edition: Lost Mines of Phandover Redux run by  Echrael Werewolf the Forsaken: The Black Isle Vikings run by  Fero Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition: A Most Potent Brew run by  Jacen Dungeon's and Dragon's Fifth Edition: One Shots run by  Michael Demons Gate  run by   Rogue Promethean the Created 2nd Edition to be run by  Taffer and Dakota If interested please post below and an invite shall be sent your way once I look over the post, thank you for your time and interest.
Heya, I'd love to join as a DM! I hope to make the cut and get to talk to you soon. About the Games I Run I typically run sandbox-oriented games with content that ranges from custom settings homebrewed for specific groups to WotC official modules. I’ve done everything from gritty realism and gothic horror where death is waiting for the party around every corner, to slap-stick comedy games that have the entire party in stitches. Everything depends on the group and what they enjoy and hope to get out of the experience. A Bit About Me Thanks for reading this! My name is Kamon and I'm currently a professional DM who's been honing my craft for over a decade. I started out with 2nd Edition AD&D, and have since played and DM'd 3.5, 5e, as well as GM'd all the White Wolf games, Mothership, Pathfinder 1e, and a smattering of others. TTRPGs are my passion, and I'm hoping to make a career of sharing my passion with others! I've mastered Dynamic Lightning and have a good grasp of API's and macros to streamline the playing experience and bring my worlds to life. I do use a bit of homebrew, but it's largely optional and only meant to speed up combat and bring more flavor into the game. Anything I implement is up to player discretion, because at the end of the day we do this to have fun, and I work my hardest to facilitate that fun. Additionally, I do a plethora of voices and some sound effects to enhance the experience. I'm always learning and trying new stuff, so my games will only get better as time progresses. If you'd like references, I have a good list of people who will vouch for my professionalism, ability to immerse my players in the world, and proficiency with Roll20.
Hello there! I've been interested in TTRPGs for a long while but until recently I've only played a handful of sessions in total. I've played DND5e, SWFFG, SOIAF and pathfinder (once) though I'm looking to branch into more games such as wh40 wraith and glory (or dark heresy), Iron Kingdoms and more. I also hope to learn more and become confident enough to gm some games. If you are curious about my playstyle I've played more basic classes like fighter, and rangers but I've started a game with a warlock in 5e and am learning the magic system. I'm more than happy to fill a role needed in teams but I do like to put thought into my character and why they are the way... they are... You know the deal. I don't like to go into cliches but also like to find an oddity to the class, like a monk who aspired to be a knight but after being taught by an older man became a fist fighter. A ranger who obsessed over hunting down giant beasts with little interest in the smaller stuff unless they gave good trophies. Even a fighter who was originally nobility but fell down as an early teenager and became a gladiator, taking to the life moreso than his previous one and yearning to own his own coliseum. I'm keen to learn other game systems outside of what I have played now but only issue I have is timing which I'd like to discuss with the group(s) whenever games are organized if they are not strictly scheduled. Some other basic info is I'm male, 26 and live in PST zone. If you have any questions my discord is Phoenix347#0913
