Elloes! Ever since I fell in love with Critical Role back in 2015, I always wanted to play DnD, but I never thought it was something I'd ever really do. Even when invited to play I was too shy really to go for it. But back in 2021 I decided I'd give it a try and so I went about trying to get a game together. I approached a few people I knew who played DND looking for a DM and I managed to find someone who was willing to run a game. No easy feat! The rest is history really. We got together a few people, mostly people who'd never really played more than one shots, if at all, and started one of the beginner modules, the Dragon of Icespire Peak. We played the game through Roll20 and used Discord for voice chat. 4 players, 1 DM. We'd meet once a week for 3 hours a session, and we ended up finishing the campaign in a couple months time. I think we played from February to August. Everyone had a blast, and everyone wants to play again. What we run into now is finding a DM to run a new campaign. Our DM from the first game has gotten busy and would like to be a player for this new game. So we're currently 5 players, the majority of us new-ish, but very interested and committed to kicking off a new campaign with new characters. These were our old characters: I was the doofus with the cape. Anyways! We're currently looking for a new Dungeon Master. We're looking to do a more longform campaign. Very little has been discussed, but modules like Curse of Strahd or Tomb of Annihilation would be something everyone would be down for. Up to the DM really. We're up for almost anything. We're mainly looking to do a lvl 1-10ish type campaign. I've exhausted all the people I could think of to ask. I feel bad even posting this. It's such a big commitment. If there is any aspiring or experienced Dungeon Masters out there searching for a party of adventurers, there's a party of adventurers in us searching for a Dungeon Master to weave us through an adventure.
