Tool Tip Being Seen When Not In Line Of Sight

This is not a show stopper by any imagination, but one of my players informed me after our last game session that if his cursor hovered over a token that was not visible to him the tool tip for that token would still open up. Not too big of a deal, but if a player really wanted to they could scroll over the entire map area and possible find creatures, enemies, etc., they did not know, or should not know are there. Lucky for me that I do not have players that do this, so not too big of a deal for my game, but might be for others We are using LDL, as UDL is not working properly, so I am not sure if that can be the issue.

Yes, that’s not surprising. The tooltips are great, but they’re a very new feature and not fully integrated. If you’re using Dynamic Lighting, I don’t recommend using tooltips.  I use them all the time for my monsters, but I’m running 13th Age and I don’t use Dynamic Lighting.

Tooltips are a very simple tool that were released in kind of an "as-is" state. They work great for certain purposes, but those purposes are limited due to the lack of options.
