Trouble with Monster Manual tokens

I just bought the Monster Manual in the marketplace and am trying to create character sheets out of the compendium pages by dragging them onto the page. My internet and laptop are slow, so when I did this, it started to potato after a couple of them, forcing me to refresh the page to continue. To save time, I started dragging them all out of the compendium at once and just letting them slowly buffer one by one, closing their sheets as they appeared without letting them load properly. I think this was the part where things started getting buggy. After this, some of the monsters hadn't created character sheets at all, and now when dragged out of the compendium, simply pop out the blue person figure without any sheet being created for it. Others had created a sheet, but had lost their npc stat blocks completely, asking me to either create a npc, edit directly, etc. Those ones produced the images they were meant to produce, but didn't have the proper sizes or the hitpoints, etc. The ones that had gotten to load their sheets fully after being pulled out of the compendium, worked fine, but the ones that I managed to break are at least to my knowledge completely bricked. Is there a way to restrore/refresh the purchase, or will I have to start fixing the sheets up by hand? Considering that I bought the Manual purely so I wouldn't have to do this, and because I as of yet have no idea if the % of the broken ones is 10 or 90, I'd appreciate advice. Another poster had a similar problem, but I don't think the situation is exactly the same: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8565025/monster-manual-tokens-and-sheets Thank you!

Hi Jack! First: Delete any problem characters. Once you have created a character, if there are any issues with it, a fresh compendium pull does nothing. The compendium will not overwrite an existing character with the same name (in order to protect homebrew changes). So your problem characters might be the ones you were having trouble with initially. Once you delete a problem character, the Compendium will correctly pull in a fresh one. If for some reason you don't wish to delete a problem character (maybe you've corrected it or changed it somehow), just re-name it. The compendium looks at the name attribute to avoid duplication. Second: The pulls are supposed to be buffered so you don't have to wait for them to resolve, but if there are any poor connections between you and the server (not necessarily on either end, just ordinary internet bottlenecks), you might not get everything. It's usually good practice to do as you landed on: wait a second for them to resolve before doing something else.
Hi! Thank you, that helped. My problem was the broken characters had in fact created broken character sheets at the bottom of the journal where I couldn't see them. Once I deleted them and pulled the monsters out of the compendium again, they worked well.

That trips people up until they get used to it, but it's one of those things that really, truly is a feature and not a bug. :)
"At the bottom of the journal where I couldn't see them." What on earth is in your session? You should not have such a huge journal that you have to scroll down to see new sheets. Your issues why things are taking long is probably because theres too much data in your session to begin with. Or atleast start using folders for your own sanity.

If folders are open, even a quite small game could have entries off the bottom of the tab. I use a style to make my journal tab about half the size of the default, and can easily cause stuff to be past the scroll.
