Also in the market for a shiny new or even a battered old Rifts game

I'm going to add my voice to the others who are looking for a good Rifts game/campaign...:)

I heartily agree and am also looking for a game.

I just had a slot open in my long-running campaign.  You'd need to be ok with a bi-weekly game that runs on Saturdays starting at 10 AM Pacific time and is between 4-5 hours.  Also, as with many GM's, I have a litany of house rules and flexibility on Rules as Written.  Positive player interaction with other players is a must.  Setting appropriate characters are enforced, as is a focus on RP over power gaming.  If you're interested, there is a ton more info you'll need to know and be comfortable with.  I'm a mother hen when it comes to my players, and with the average insanity level of most Rifts players, I tend to be overly critical of new peeps into my campaign...but...we have an open slot.

I am interested and I can do that, I am on the east coast, so that would be 1300 for me. And I am a big fan of role-playing not power gaming. Can you tell me more?

Before I do, out of fairness to the three players who responded already, I will need to hold off until I finish screening them to see if any are a good fit first.  If none of them work out, I'll hit you up.  Sorry, I know how it is with one slot and multiple folks interested.

Well atm we need a hard ware electrical/ possibly weapons for my dark heroes game. (basically cyberpunk meets, judge dread, meets zombies and othe supernatural stuff.) (lvl one game with some flexibility.).  The mess is open to a few players but not really to fill gaps . Just  a high power mess of all things sci-fi and fantasy. (multiple class's and 15th lvl.). As for others you never know when i'll get things going or know someone who is.

Well, the "mess" sounds interesting...A high-powered game could be interesting. What are you NOT allowing (probably a better question to ask :)

Well the Game is more about the P.c. group working its way (building up for the coming megaversal events.). The group arent the good guys thier more the darker shade of grey. the party is slowly building to the lowest tier of god hood and building a interdimensoinal mega-net and stuff like that. things are slowly building towards the forge war in the three galaxies, the minoin war, the titan war on olympus (which just so happens that the party just happened to help facilitate lol.). ragnarok and a few other god wars and such. Leaving room for the p.c.'s if they survive to become the new gods. (At present they have two that are firmly as the potential new gods of war. The goddess of dreams, A god of strength, a supersneaky many face god potential (ninja mutant ((and many other things)) shapeshifter, A music singer/wolf lord with the (so good even the gods take notice ((and have some))., a God of magic/samurai Dragon, And a Master of cyberspace, A legendary forger/blessed of Dionisius there are others  with out defined spheres (deific-ally speaking). So i a player could come in with a specific sphere in mind or go with red's randomness or such. The Reason i mention the spheres i have is that those ones are pretty much sewn up and i wouldn't allow a new player  in to compete/take thier sphere out from under them.  And though you could come in with a colony or large but not to large colony (200,000 people maximum for now.). or group of refugees with ships etc. With those kinds of builds its not about how powerful the individual character but what they can as a people bring/add to the table plus it can fit the requirements for a mini plane, and enough people to count for worshippers to ascend some one to the lowest level of diety in game. (They'll do thier legendary bit in game or not.). if you just want to be along for the ride and just be a part of story thats fine to and will allow for a lot of fun. Theres a few warzone/war torn systems near where the players have set up shop.(though they tend to hop all over time/space/ and dimensions.).  

Huh…cool. So what books can I use? Can I use hero unlimited?
