The queen explained further about the issue. 'Come and let me show you something very special. You have proven yourselves trustworthy and will keep our secret.' We were led to a small wooded area nearby and shown through to a glade with a small tree in the centre. 'This may not appear very impressive but this is our new "World tree". It is but a sapling right now but we have nurtured it for many years now and it is still quite vulnerable. A group of Ragnarok cultists have holed up in a sacred site over the river and have been seen sneaking around the area. They can probably pick up the magical aura of the World Tree and it's only a matter of time before they find and try to destroy it. We have a plan to raid their camp and disperse the cult but with your assistance we have a good chance of wiping them out completely. Shield-sister Ironeyes will lead the main attack. 'With Randgrin's sword returned to my hand I will fight with the strength of two warriors and bring glory to our lady Sif.' We were all keen to join the fight and take down a doomsday cult and a war party was arranged. We set off at a quick pace, the plan being a lightning attack or Blixtnedslag as they called it. The cultists were camped on a hill topped by a ring of standing stones. Sister Ironeyes led her party from the front of the camp while we circled around the back to catch them off guard. I don't think our approach was that subtle but in the end it didn't really matter. The huldra shield sisters were screaming battle cries and smashing the strange cultist creatures. A fire blazed in the centre of the camp and we could see near our side a huddle of withered hags trying to stay out of the way while reaver dwarfs yelled orders to dozens of small hairy blue goblins. "Ragnarok is upon us! Destroy the unclean! WINTER IS COMING!!!!" Our archers all lined up targets and opened fire. Wrendell rode up on Tanngrisnir, his trusty goat with his usual reckless abandon "Uh, Do you have a permit for that fire?" The goat bunting a reaver flat on his ass. I came running up the hill to join the fight but was caught in a sudden blast as a winter storm seemed to come out of nowhere. Sleet and ice hindered my charge somewhat but thanks to Samba's light I was able to find my way though, fighting the wintery storm and bashing reavers and fraugasgar aside. The sheer numbers of cultist fraugashar almost overwhelmed us but our courage and determination saw us hold back the tide long enough to whittle each of the hags down, killing all three and effectively destroying the cult of Ragnarok. After the battle the storm seemed to ease as we gathered around the fire to warm up and catch our breath.
