Players joining as Editor

Any player that I invite, regardless of browser or device, joins my game with the link "app.roll20.net/editor is this normal and we just haven't noticed it before? No one has been promoted to GM except for me. Thanks for any help!

Yes, this is normal. The editor is just the page that gives access to the vtt. What edit permissions a user has depends on whether they're a player or gm.

That's normal. Although you start with a unique join link(ie https://app.roll20.net/editor/setcampaign/0000000 ), after you connect to the game, the url resolves to https://app.roll20.net/editor/ regardless if you are a player/gm. You can right-click copy the "Launch Game" button to learn the game's actual url. (what Scott said. :-)

I believe the "editor" is nothing referring to the user, only that this is the editing interface, one in which people can make changes to the campaign via moving tokens, writing values and such. There is an actual role assigned that you can see when you hover over the "join as player" link: https://app.roll20.net/editor/setcampaign/00000000?desiredrole=player
