My best friend and I are looking to put together a game hopefully on Wednesday nights around 8pm CST as that’s the time that works best for us at the moment. We currently play in 3 games a week and he GMs all 3! I want to be a part of more games and he wants to get to actually play, especially because we have an idea for a character duo we’ve been dying to play! He’s a long-time player and basically an expert while I’m a pretty early stage beginner. I've been playing for 2 months now so I’m learning but still can hold my own pretty well! The games my friend runs are very relaxed and roleplay heavy and so that’s the sort of game we’re looking for, a chill atmosphere with fun people to play with! We’re used to a more relaxed world with some allowed homebrew, in a standard fantasy setting that’s really forgiving and beginner-friendly. We know people who GM but they’re all really intense long time players who run a lot more battle heavy serious games than I’m personally used to and because I’m still a newbie, that’s a little scary to me lol Basically we’re happy with more serious storylines, but would still prefer the spirit of adventure and some lighthearted fun too! A mix of taking ourselves seriously with having fun! As for other players, I’d say newbies or patient players are welcome, we’re hoping for a relaxed game environment where we can enjoy playing the party dynamics as much as possible!
