Slow Maps with lots of Objects vs. Fast Maps with almost No Objects

So recently, I've been coming across a problem on Roll20. I've been working with the same maps for years now with my Curse of Strahd game, but for some reason this week, I've noticed that whenever I play around with my maps with a lot of detail, they're running super slow. However, when I check on maps that are pretty straightforward and have limited things overtop of it, they run just as normal. Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

For clarification, I NEVER use video chat with my players via roll20. Always through Discord. I also don't display their avatars on screen to show more of my map. I've never run into this issue for the years I've been running my campaign, but the incredibly slow movements on my maps make it almost unplayable for me. Can I get some insight on this issue? I've posted screenshots below (can't do videos or gifs. Sowwy)

Example of map with a lot of tokens/objects (running slow)

Example of Map with limited objects (running normally--This is mostly just drawn things and text)

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Double check that Hardware Acceleration on your browser has not become inadvertently deselected.

That was the issue! Thanks so much! Hopefully, if anyone has this issue, this helps them too!

Thanks for corroborating! It's the most common cause of DL lag.
