Explorer Mode Too Dark...Is There An Adjustment?

Is there a way to change how dark Explorer Mode is? On my particular monitor it shows up so dark as to be nearly invisible. Thanks, Allen

Hi Allen! Unfortunately, the problem usually lies in the map choice. Explorer mode basically removes color and darkens the map in the explored areas, Some maps lend themselves well to the treatment, others which may be darker and less color saturated will tend to be more difficult to use. Other than brightening the monitor or asking the GM to tweak the map image, there might be little you can do. You could ask the GM to employ  Light Crumbs  in carefully chosen areas.

That's the point...I want Explorer Mode to darken less . Sigh. I know the problem is somewhat monitor specific: the explored areas are more visible on some monitors than other. Maybe there is a contrast setting on the monitor I can tweek. But I'd really love for there to be a setting that adjusts how much Roll20 darkens explored areas (perhaps similar to the "GM Darkness Opacity" slider).

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I agree that it would be helpful to be able to adjust this. I should have said that currently, the solution usually lies in the map choice.
