Can I stream using roll20 tokens?

Hey! So me and some friends are gonna start streaming Call of the Netherdeep next week, and because of that, we’re trying to figure out how to deal with token art. Current solution is we draw our own, but I saw that the Call of the Netherdeep on roll20 has a bunch of npc tokens. So I was wondering, if I bought it here, and then used those tokens, would that be allowed? Since I spent money on them or something? Any help is appreciated :) Thanks!

Buying something with money doesn't always give you commercial rights. Check the creator's profile (many of us state we're okay with it there) and if not, contact the creator and ask!

Contact Roll20 directly. You can use a Help Center Request . They are unlikely to give even a specific answer openly for fear it could be interpreted as broadly or universally true. I do know that WotC itself has an extremely liberal Fan Usage policy, but this is derivative art and it's better to be safe than sorry.
Thanks for the answers! How can I see who made the art for Call of the Netherdeep?

You can find a complete list of the credits on the Critical Role wiki. (no link, per Code of Conduct, but it's easy enough to find). But you wouldn't contact each artist individually, that would take forever and be unlikely to be productive. Contact the publisher. They have negotiated reproduction rights for the artwork in its intended purpose. But: Since the art was transformed by Roll20, that would probably be the first place to start. Did you contact them?
I did! They said this: "You're more than welcome to stream your Roll20 game on the platform of your choice. There's nothing stopping you in the same way that there's nothing stopping someone from streaming a video game Lets Play. We do encourage giving credit to an artist whenever you use marketplace packs, though that is also not a requirement. If you have any more questions, just let me know!" So would I contact the publisher of Call of the Netherdeep in general, or the publisher of it here on roll20, and where would I find either of those? I'm sorry there's a lot of questions, but I'd rather do it correctly than having it come back to bite us in the ass :P

It sounds to me like you are clear. But IANAL.
FWIW, here is a link to the Wizards of the Coast policy on this sort of thing: https://company.wizards.com/en/legal/fancontentpolicy
