Chat log not clearing

Just like it says. I did a mock test of an encounter and want to wipe away all the evidence lol, but after clicking the button, it does delete it, but when I open the game again, the chat log hasn't been cleared.  I've cleared my own personal cache, and wondered what other fix there was for this?  I'm on the latest google chrome.

When you clear it in-game, you are just clearing what you see then (and only for you).  To clear the archive, you need to go to the game launch/details page and clear the archive from the settings drop down.
Oh! Thank you!

It took me a while, but I finally trained myself to type "/talktomyself" into chat whenever I log in to a game to prep, as a matter of habit. I'm crossing my fingers that the suggestion to allow GMs to delete individual chat entries will be implemented some day. Otherwise, clearing the chat archive or chat-spamming are our only options for hiding things from the players after the fact.

Sadly,“/talktomyself” breaks API scripts, so I now test in my Library Game when prepping monsters, just rolling Initiative in the player’s game, using “/w gm”  of course.

There is definitely something funky going on, though. Are you using the group-init script by chance? Noticed it during last Friday's session, and double checked just now. I use group-init to manage the initiative window (macros unchanged in over a year). Now, once turns are added via group-init, they can't be cleared using group-init syntax anymore (!group-init --clear). If you try to clear all turns with group-init, the "cleared" entries remain until you roll initiative for something else. They can't be remove with the "Remove all turns" button in the Turn Order settings or manually deleted with the trash icon. If you don't clear with group-init, though, you can manually delete them.
