Seeing the end result of a script

Is there a way to see what a line of  code looks like with the variables expanded out and how it is processed, to help understand the order of operations, to figure out why I can't get it right lol

Just sending it to chat. You can find information on the order of operations in the wiki .
I will give sending to chat a try, thank you. Yes, I actually read your reply on another post and followed your link to that wiki. I keep thinking I understand,  but all my attempts have failed so far.  Trying to create a attack roll macro (shooting) within a repeating section that represents  the shooting skill (pistol, rifle, shotgun, etc.) In deadlands the difficulty is different for each weapon type based on range. I want the query to add the name "pistol" "rifle"or  "shotgun" to "range" so it will read "pistolrange" "riflerange" or "shotgunrange" then have those variables contain the range selection

For savage worlds deadlands, I'd recommend using the official savage worlds character sheet. It supports all the savage worlds settings.
I am playing the deadlands classic (anniversary addition) I've thought about changing to savage worlds. Maybe one of these days
