It might help if you told us what type of content you want to make. Maps - I really like inkarnate.com and Adobe Photoshop (or Gimp) Modules - Adobe InDesign Roll20 Custom Character Sheets - use Notepad++, Visual Studio Code, and Chrome
Thanks Nick, I'll try to be more specific in the future but I'm completely new to this side. I want to create campaign modules. This includes the tokens, maps, character sheets etc. I will take a look at what you suggested.
I can't recommend Adobe InDesign very highly for a specifically Roll20 project. It does not produce files that are particularly useful within Roll20's environment. Adobe Illustrator is also very good for map production. But yeah, some idea of the sort of content would lead to better recommendations. Make sure all content is created by you or you have a license to use it in commercial works and follow the requirements in the license. If this is a 5e product, make sure that you only reference content from the SRD or other OGL works. Maps: I prefer DungeonDraft to Inkarnate. Art: Rogue Genius on DTRPG has affordable stock art. Tokens: TokenStamp makes pog-style tokens from your art.
