(With apologies to Mike's recap, I missed the recap last week, and so I've labeled these 21 & 22!) Tyrese Lyrandar proved willing enough to be helpful. Then things ... got weird. Lady Avalara (Ovi-lair-a? Olive Lara? Oh, whatever) didn't take kindly to Twitch calling her out as a minion of the aboleth Neglith in the middle of the King's Coin, and was about to walk out, when--based off a tip from Sh'Nezz'Tar--Twitch cast Dispel Magic on the Jade Viper. Truth in labeling, it turned out. Beneath a transformation spell, Lady Oh-fer-cryin-out-loud turned out to be a Yuan-Ti Anathema, whose skin was so scaly that no amount of moisturizer was going to help. The group tried its hardest to capture her, but she slithered away before Twitch tossed a coin to the barkeep: "Sorry about the mess," she said, confident that she, in fact, had shot first. While the group pursued their own projects--Lukar with his Almanac, Envy with demonic dream visitations--the Outcasts settled upon staking out the Lyrandar tower. One sole guard watched the side entrance, and so Twitch, yet again invoking the powers of a galaxy far, far away, convinced the guard that they were never there, that they were not the outlaws he was looking for, and that they could go about their business. The Outcasts moved along--which, in this case, meant inside the tower. Had Twitch mentioned that things got weird? Inside Lord Zanovar's office--after fending off invisible stalkers--there was a portal to another plane, in which Lord Zanovar had tied up Tyrese for some apparent sacrifice while a bunch of ice elementals stood guard. Legion wisely used a poison powder to incapacitate Lord Zanovar while the others focused on bringing down Frosty and Frostier. The Traveler's paths are wondrous, indeed.
