Open the game in an incognito browser and find out if your AV/internet security packages are controlling browser stuff and if so whitelist roll20. Also there are areas of the world right now that are currently blocking sites like roll20 so beware of your area. My guide for my players at the table is to dispel all beliefs in brand preference on browsers and tell them to install either firefox or chrome, whatever one they don't normally use, and install and use it JUST for roll20 so its nice and clean and doesn't have any extensions installed.
