[D&D 5E] Group of newbies looking for DM (Free)

Hi, we're a group of 4 (possibly 5) new adult players looking for a willing DM to help set up and run a weekend D&D campaign. Hoping to start with Lost Mine of Phandelver within the coming weeks and see where things go from there. Ideal game would be a heroic adventure with a 50/50 mix of mild RP and combat, official content only and with sessions of about 4 hours starting around 12pm MDT on Saturdays. We're all co-workers so Saturdays are the only time we have off together.   EDIT: Forgot to mention we'd like to use Discord for voice chat, D&D beyond for character sheets and of course roll20 for the visuals.

Hi Brandon, as much as I wish you good luck and all the best for your search for a DM, it is very difficult as there are many players and few DMs around here. I often read entries like yours, where you are 4-5 new players looking for a DM. But hey, you are so lucky to have a group of people who want to to RPG so just go for it and set up the play for yourself! If you take official adventures you can even take turns in DMing. You will be great at it I am sure! And you will have a great time together at the table! And there are tons of videos out there on youtube with tips to get you started, if you feel uncertain! I have been looking to dm some new players. I have done this one other time on roll 20 with new players and it was so much fun teaching someone the core mechanics of the game that I have spent soooo much of my life playing. Are you still looking for a DM?
