A wall of wild guests pushed to the back of the church. trying to keep us out but to no avail.  Lea and the Huldra Shield Maidens held the line on the left flank while I kept the berserkers busy on the right flank. We had Nickolai, Strom, and Eldon darting in and out of the doorway sniping as Wrendell flew around at the front drawing fire away from the melee. The left flank was where most of the action was taking place. Vampires, Ghouls, and wild-men were in a battle frenzy slashing and biting with a savage fury. I stood my ground getting surrounded by my foes. Their pathetic attempts to hit me were easily deflected by my armour and the aura of my divine purpose. The evil priest of Chernabog screamed in fury and ran forward in a last ditch effort to save what dark favour he may have had with his foul patron. His curses and hexes were barely noticed by Wrendell who knocked the priest down in righteous indignation. 'You worm. This abalone? ah, absolution?.. ' Eldon rushed over to assist, whispering, 'Abomination.' Wrendell grinned and raised his hammer 'This abomination is over!' then smashed the life out of the priest with a mighty clober that split the floor of the church. A massive crack spread all the way down the aisle and cracked the altar in half. The whole building began to shudder and shake as the dark powers holding the place together released their grip. There were still a few stragglers trying to hide, but the remaining guests were soon dealt with and a strange quiet settled over the church as we settled ourselves to catch our breath. In all the chaos of the battle I think the bride managed to escape through a window and presumably, taking the form of a bat swarm, flew away into the black moonless night. All of us that carry the light did so. Samba firstly, then Nickolai brandished his Vial of sunlight, and myself with the Holy Robes of Sister Adelind. Our lights' brilliance stripped some of the evil that pervaded the room and many of the evil relics left here crumbled to dust. Banners and hangings around the walls fell down revealing the original icons on the walls. It appeared that this was once a temple of Sif.  We explored the area and discovered a crypt under the altar where a trove of wedding gifts were kept. Amongst the cards from well wishers was a mysterious communique from another dark power. It then dawned on me, as my cognitive process circuit wound up, that our holy quest was concluded. Our next stage would be a return journey to report on our success in Jozht.
