Looking for a game so i can learn how to play RPG (I JUST MADE A NEW POST IN THE FORUNS WITH MORE DETAILS) Aways wanted to get in rpg but never found someone to play and when i found a group they were to advanced and did not want to teach a new player. I've been a MTG player for about 4 years now and aways loved the worldbuilding and ideias so I've been fascinated to play a campaing in any rpg eversince. Never played a tabbletop rpg before, so i don't know anything and i'm open to learning as long as somebody is open to teaching me. Someone told me to put what are my preferences in here, so will sumerize with "anything and everything", i love everything from fantasy to sci-fi, usually have a tendency to flutuate to horror/terror/lovecraftian horror/existencial horror stories in any genre tho (like, a dark deep space sci-fi, a realistic gritty murder mistery on some wet and dark city or some horror creature in a dark forest in fantasy) but I'll play almost evrything as long as someone is willing to teach me how. My interests are very much 100% ecletic. (tho i figure i should start from the basics, like D&D). Two things that i think people should know: First: I'm a med student so i may not have all the time in the world on my hands but i can try. Second: English is not my native language and i pretty much taught myself how to understand it and how to speak it (I feel safer playing in english tho, idk why but it somehow feels right), so i have a pretty strong accent and sometimes words fail me (wich can be usefull if im playing as a forener from some distand land or something like that, idk, at least then my mediocre grasp over the language will have a canonical explanation :) ), timezone is south brasillian, so 3 hours ahead of texas time for a reference, tho this shoulden't be a big problem since I'm used to going to bed past 6 in the morning by now.
