I'm Dominick, 30, LGBTQ guy. I'm newish to TTRPGs, have a few one shots under my belt and interested in looking for a long term campaign. Campaign: I'm interested in trying Eberron, curse of the strahd, any forgotten realms setting as I've heard good things but would be just as happy in a standard fantasy setting. Not looking for fandom/futuristic at this time. I think I'm most interested in the RP/problem solving but love combat as well. I'd be happy with anything but a strict dungeon crawler solely campaign (although I love a good heist style mission). I'm interested in a game that's building a story with good people in a complex world with some risk and pressure. Rag-tag group of misfits defying odds to *insert heroic plot here*. Group: I would prefer to play with people around my age group, can be flexible but atleast 18+ please. LGBTQ friendly. Comfortable with a moderately new player (I'm a good study and I have played enough games that I don't need my hand held through combat or anything but may need correction of terminology or such) Potential characters: Soft spot for rouges (love Dex based characters) but willing to do anything but barb really. Alignment I can't say I'm a huge fan of, but usually play good leaning characters. Me as a player, I like to bring a mix of serious and light hearted to the table. No issues with edgelording in the corning brooding silently or steering away from the party (unless the group decides it's a good idea to split up). I am on PST but ton of free time after 6pm anyday or anytime Saturday and Sunday.
