October 20, 2018 Saturday              The battle rages. The Saiettas are formidable but are not a match for the Brooklyn Brigade. Chrys (Winter Fox) leapt through the floors on the exterior of the building coming up directly under a Saietta mentalist. The mentalist fell but was able to prevent hitting the pavement with telekinesis.              The hideous Ghoul rendered Kismet unconscious. The deep wounds caused by the Ghoul and the resulting blood loss brought her close to death. Paladin, Horati, Chrys, and Cyberpunk managed to defeat (mentalist), Toxic Cloud, and Ventna and rescue Kismet’s uncle Dr. Edgar Cizko. Members of the Brigade were scrambling to find a member within their ranks to treat Kismet. Her wounds were threatening to make her bleed out. Luckily Dr. Edgar Cizko, Kismet’s Uncle, was a psychologist and a trained doctor! He rushed to her aid and stabilized her wounds using portions of her outfit as (un-)dressings and bandages. Kismet is then rushed to the Bunker and placed in the Autodoc (that PRIMUS gave them). It quickly, over the course of several hours, restored her to full health and prevents scars from forming.                The Brooklyn Brigade imprisoned the fallen villains using the wand the Master gave them. It now has 97 charges left. The Brigade’s plan is to have the Saiettas banished to Ean but in order to be as legal as possible Paladin opts to make a police report to Lt. House. House takes the report but without having criminals to incarcerate he buries the report at the back of his filing cabinet.                After filing the police report the Brigade place a note for the Master at Cleopatra’s Needle. Almost immediately they are contacted by Megan Pierce. She tells the Brooklyn Brigade that opening a portal between Earth and Ean is very difficult to accomplish. Opening it for three ‘minor’ threats isn’t practical. Being Imprisoned they are not a threat. She suggests holding on to them until they have more. Then the Greater Circle can banish them en masse.              The Brooklyn Brigade keeps the glass spheres containing the villains somewhere in the base (near Magni’s helmet and hammer maybe?).                As evening approaches Kei and Yuri, with the secret help of their pet Mughi, head to the indoor paintball arena owned by Max Barna. They suspect Barna being in league with the Saiettas because one of the Saietta family has been known to partake in the ‘sport’ that Barna offers. Zato Saietta was the last person seen with Barbara Horn, a previous ‘Bambi’, before she went missing.              The Lovely Angels come to the arena dressed in cheap clothes they got from Goodwill (?). They get taken to the arena (they don’t know how to drive automobiles) and are met by Abe Harris. Harris is the manager of the New York branch of the Dangerous Adventures (the company that owns the Hunting Bambi / Hunting Bam-Bam franchises). Max Barna, the owner, has returned to his home in LA. Harris and his assistant manager and talent scout Carmela Blevins take the girls to a locker room where they put everything they brought with them in a pair of lockers. Carmela keeps the keys promising to return them after the game and banquet.                Mughi turned invisible and carried several of the Lovely Angel’s favorite weapons, Kei’s repeating bazooka and Yuri’s blood card just to name two, into the arena in case things go south. The rest of the team was nearby to get involved if need be,              The Lovely Angels are then taken to the arena proper and are introduced to the 5 men who have paid for the privilege to hunt them. The girls get a small head start, which is usually used to try to get to the flag on the far side arena. Instead Kei and Yuri use the time to find places to hide. They climb the rock wall, the first terrain, that lines the trail that leads to the goal.              They wait for the hunters to pass. The girls then follow them and grab a straggler. They don’t hurt the hunter but quietly subdue him, tie him up, and gag him. Kei the takes the paintball gun and nods to her partner.              To keep in the spirit of the game neither of the Angels take the hunter’s clothes or get dressed.              Yuri plays the part of bait and flushes out another hunter and Kei takes him out.              The girls repeat this tactic until they have neutralized all five hunters. They then take their flag without opposition winning the game.              Most of the hunters object that the girls cheated but Abe Harris says there is nothing in the rules that prevents the prey from turning the tide on the hunters as long as no one is harmed in the role reversal.              The girls stay and celebrate with the hunters in the lodge. The banquet is delicious and the open bar flows readily. Yuri drinks moderately while Kei is more robust in her consumption of alcohol.              The girls do have to fend off the attention of the hunters but nothing gets too carried away.              After the celebration, which includes having several pictures are taken of the girls with their hunters, Carmela gives the girls the key to their lockers and their checks for winning the game. The Angels then get a ride back to the Bunker.                Much to the disappointment of the Brigade nothing illegal transpired at Dangerous Adventures. This hunt was different in two respects than the one where Barbara Horn vanished. First Max Barna is in LA not NY and Zato Saietta was not involved in the hunt.              Zato Saietta might not have been there because of ehat happened earlier with the kidnapping of Dr. Cizko.                Capturing three members of the Saietta crime family and the victory at Dangerous Adventures – Hunting Bambi are two clear wins for the heroes over the bad guys.   EXP Awards: Paladin 7, Kismet 7, Cyberpunk 7, Chris (Winter Fox) 7, (Horati) Freewind 7
