Hi there. My name is Puck. I am a 30 year old woman and I have been playing RPGS for 15 years (and DM'ed for 9 of those years). I am hoping to start up a Grimdark Cosmic horror game, with heavy Call of Cthulhu influences to be run on a Monday evening. I live in the UK, and looking to start the game at 7pm (GMT+1) on a Monday. We will be using Roll20 for sheets, maps, all in-game action and Discord for voice chat. I am hoping to have the game up and running in the next couple of weeks or so. I am intending to have it in a medieval setting with the horror aspects being mostly linked to either supernatural occurrences and cosmic horror. I am hoping to include the insanity aspects, wherein your character has a possibility of going mad, and also include some elements from the book Grimhollow wherein your character can become injured with different effects depending on injury. I want players who are more RP focused than battle focused. There will be aberrant horrors, eerie ghosts, cults and insanity around every corner. I am looking for players that are aware that, although they are nice and safe in their homes, their characters are not. Please come into this game with the mindset that it is horror and I will be trying to build an atmosphere around that.
