Looking to join a V5 Vampire the Masquerade 5th Edition game.

Hello, I would love to join a V5 Vampire the Masquerade 5th Edition game if anyone is running one. I am unable to find any in the "join the game" function for some reason, so I thought I would try this forum. I am new to the game, never played any of the WOD games or prior editions of them, however, I am a veteran to role playing. I have been Playing and Running various role playing games for the last 17 years. Mostly Warhammer, Shadowrun, Star Wars, and D&D, but I've tried many many others. I've never played Vampire, or any of the World of Darkness games, but I've always wanted to. I love personal gothic horror, and the genre just speaks to me, unfortunately many of my local friends and game shops don't support any interest in playing. I almost got to play Vampire a few months ago, but it fell through so I never got to play, but, I have a character I put a lot of time in energy into creating with a dense back story, that is freshly embraced and ready to go. I would love the opportunity to play him. If anyone is running, or is interesting in playing a V5 Chronicle, please let me know, lets make something happen. Thanks, Cubert

I am very much in the same boat.  Similar to yourself Paul B. I am new to the setting. Slowly learning VtM v5 rules and not used the older editions. I am also an experienced role player of several other systems, but have found it hard to find a VtM v5 game to join that fits my own times.  If you hear anything keep me in the loop. I too would like to play some Vamp. V5 I'm a long time RPGer. I play VtM back in the day(years) and even Larped with the Cam. for awhile. Been out of the loop for a long while and would like to play some VtM again.

If I hear of anything I'll keep you both in the loop, nice to meet you both. 

Fair note here. I know of a few people who use V5, but I don't know of a single group that actually uses the setting in 5th edition here on Roll20. They may well be around, but by and large, the existing WoD community is still basically wedded to the classic setting, no matter the edition they prefer. Most like 20th anniversary, some Revised or 5th.

If you're open to a play by post style of game I'd be willing to at the least run something small so you can try out the system

I never really see ads for VtM, which is a bummer, because it's one of the few systems I wanted to try out that I haven't got the opportunity to yet. I've seen two ads, and one what for Play by post, which I don't do, and the other was super hardcore not super beginner friendly. I just want to find a place where I can play a super hot, french, noir detective vampiiiiire.

I am interested in VTM as well.

No luck yet for anyone? Voice games of v5 VtM must be few and far between. But we can live in hope :D

I'd offer, but I don't have the rules, never GMd one or played in one ;) Paul, despite appearances, Roll20 doesn't really have a vibrant non D&D 5e community.  Not a slam on Roll 20 because D&D 5e is just so dominant in the world and so it is on here.   You can still find what you are looking for, you just have to look longer and harder, not be flaky when you find one and not be exclusive about who you play with.
