Gif timer not being accurate

Hello everyone, I want to implement a countdown and I have created a gif using a webpage. I have tested the gif while on my pc and the delay between frames is the appropiate. However, when I upload the gif onto roll20 I have realised that it usually goes faster than what I expected. Has anyone find this issue before and/or knows how to fix it or tackle it in another way? Note: The gif countodown works when the count lats for a matter of seconds (6 seconds tested). If the timer rises to, for example, 5 or 6 min a discrepancy arises.

Are you using the gif in chat or dropping it on the tabletop (and thus having it converted to a .webm file)?
The later option, dropping it on the tabletop as a token.

I would suggest trying converting it a .webm file yourself and see if you get proper timing, then upload that file instead of the .gif and see if it works correctly.
