Wanted to pick up the DMG for our game so I could roll Oathbreaker paladin, but I had seen in a few posts 2 years ago that it had to be added manually and couldn't be picked at lvl 3. Is this still the case? Talked to DM and he said if I couldn't pick it at 3 I'd have to role-playing it, which is fine I just wanted to know before I drop 40$ for nothing lol.
