I think the issue is that its trying to load all the monsters. D&DBeyond avoids this issue by only load 20 statblocks at a time (or only 10 with their encounter builder). But the tool is also kind of clunky. It would be better if you could select multiple sources at the same time. It would also be better if there was a filter for the monsters environment. Using filters generally just feel very slow as well. If you are trying to select a bunch then it can take a long time to do that. Edit: I should add that I have Kobold Press's Tome of Beasts 1 and 2 as well as Creature Codex. So that adds a lot to the list.
