Can't add tokens from journal

Hello everyone I'm a player in two campaigns here and in both I have the exact same issue. I can't add tokens to the map from journal or from my character sheets. For everyone else it's perfectly fine, both the players and the DM. This wasn't always the case, but I can't tell when exactly it started or after what in particular, since I didn't use this feature much before my druid character. I'm using Google Chrome and I have cleared all my cache files. Any help will be appreciated

I'm having a similar issue. Unable to drag pictures/tokens from a character sheet as I used to be able. It seems to be a bug with the four arrow button on my end. For some reason it shows up when I'm hovering over the lower half of the image, as I was able to do to show it in the image below. However, whenever I hover over where the button is supposed to be, or anywhere closer to it, it disappears and shows nothing instead. No option to drag and drop as was available just a couple of weeks ago.   I'm also using Chrome and have cleared my cache. Also tried a different browser (Edge) and the issue was the same. If anyone is able to help that would be awesome, as it's a nice feature to have proper access to.

You’re grabbing the “four arrows” icon and trying to drag the image to the Map that way? That stopped working a while ago.  You drag tokens from the Journal by grabbing the name of the Journal entry from the list to the Map. 

Just a quick addendum: Dragging a token from the character journal has never been the intended practice. You could drag the image from the character journal, but it would not be the default token with all of the intended linking, just a graphic. The method Andrew describes, dragging from the journal tab, is the method for putting a properly set default token onto the VTT.

Thank you Andrew and Keithcurtis, that fixed it. I didn't realize I could do it from the Journal itself.
