(OOC: For the title of the recap, I struggled to think of a song that included lyrics with something like "down the rabbit hole." I resorted to using a lyrics search engine on the Internet--weak! KC and Mike--apparently there's a Blink 182 song that references "rabbit hole," but I don't know it. Anyway, I went with the Soundgarden reference--not my usual musical style, but at least it's accessible to the young'uns.) Over and over, the Outcasts followed Keh're Fopdoodle down the rabbit hole of interdimensional portals. Each one led to more Slaad and Yuan-Ti, but not to Vass Fopdoodle or the Death Slaad Keh're had claimed she had become. With the dark blood of Slaads and Yuan-Ti staining their weapons, the Outcasts tumbled down one final portal, only to find themselves standing on what appeared to be a boulder floating in a void with a number of multicolored Slaads--and there, in the center of what looked like a warding circle, was Vass Fopdoodle in kobold form. Vass pleaded with the Outcasts to save her. But Twitch was wary. Hadn't Keh're told them that Vass had been transformed into a Death Slaad--and that they had to kill Vass to save her? What new devilry was this?
