Currently our group consists of a Wizard, Ranger, Bard, Paladin & Cleric Game style: Our group is fairly inexperienced, we are trying to become better role players and more story driven however we are more combat focus until we get better at role playing. Hello all, our group, The Frogmouth Crew , are looking for one or two more players to join our weekly campaign every Sunday at 19:00 Australian Eastern Standard Time. We have a core group of 5 players and are currently 12 months into our campaign at level 7. Our DM is an amazing semi professional dungeon master who’s published in several D&D periodicals as well as podcasts etc. We use Roll20 and Discord to play our games as our DM is from Canada and the rest of the crew are from different locations in Queensland. Our campaign began in the Lost Mines of Phandelver and we are currently trying to martial allies to help us meet the Hobgoblin / Dragon threat from the Red Hand as their armies are pushing south to burn and pillage everything they see. Although our campaign has very humble beginnings we’ve set the expectation with our DM that he can use any officially published D&D adventure / sourcebook material in the creation of our campaign. I’ve personally requested that I would like to see a battle with a Beholder at some stage and our other members have made similar requests. Given this freedom we are at the mercy of our DM as we could end up in the jungles from the Tomb of Annihilation or the frozen wastes of Icewind Dale fighting Mindflayers, Tiamat, Vecna etc. A little about our group of 5, we are a group of friends all aged between mid 20’s and mid 30’s. As mentioned above we aren’t very good role players but we are trying to improve because we recognise the impact a more story driven focus can have on the game and our enjoyment rather than just having a battle every encounter. As long as you have a sense of humour and a thick skin all are welcome to our party. As our DM is a semi professional he charges $120 CAD per session so we split that evenly between the group. If we get a 6th and 7th person that will work out to be $20 CAD & $17.20 CAD each.
