Is there a Min=Max macro/command?

I've looked everywhere, and don't quite understand the macro language. I've tried playing around with other macros and tweaking them. I can't seem to find a min=max macro. I need to plug it in to attack damage   1d6 1=6   1d8 1=8, etc.

If you need to make custom dice like that, you would use a rollable table.  For example, you could make a table called custom6, and it would have the following entries: 2 with a weight of 1 3 with a weight of 1 4 with a weight of 1 5 with a weight of 1 6 with a weight of 2 Then, instead of Xd6, you would roll Xt[custom6].

Awesome I'm glad somebody knows a way to make this work. I know nothing about custom rolls/macros/tables. So PLEASE dumb it down for me, and show me how. Direct correlation is; I have a wizard that on a rolled damage of 1, the dice is instead the max, and to streamline my turns for the DM I'd like all the math to be in side bar instead of having to say "Oh that takes 11 damage, not 2. Thank you so much for the help!

Thank you so much for the help! Your GM will need to create the rollable tables. And Kraynic's description is about as simple as it can get for how to build the rollable tables.

Also note that 1d6 where 1 is 6 is identical in roll odds to 1d6+1, max 6, or in roll20 macros: /roll {1d6+1,6}kl1 kl1 there means "keep lowest one" - so as long as the roll is below 6, it is kept, but if the roll is above 6 it is treated as a 6. Kraynic's rolltable suggestion is more elegant, but needs a bit more work to set up, especially if you have multiple dice to create this way. This method has its own problems. You just have to go with whiever you find easiest.
