I would like to suggest two features: 1) control map zoom level with mouse scroll, instead of y-moving 2) a zoom bar, like google maps, for a better control of zoom level

+1 it is really annoying when one setting is just a little bit to small and next is overkill. I would be fine with an "other" type in a number box..
