Hello! I’m searching for players who would be interested in trying out some lesser played TTRPGs out there, two of which (Aquelarre and RuneQuest) function off of Chaosium’s d100 Basic Roleplaying System. Aquelarre This TTRPG is originally set throughout the Iberian Peninsula in the latter third of the Middle Ages. It has a deep emphasis on Witchcraft and Religion. The Aquelarre campaign I will be running will likely span the entirety of Western Europe from 1355 to 1500, beginning with the Black Prince's Chevauchee at the start of the Hundred Year's War. C haracters will be allowed from any historical kingdom in Western, Central, or Mediterranean Europe and will likely involve dynastic play over the course of the century and a half. Sessions will likely have a several-year interval IC, unless an adventure takes multiple sessions. RuneQuest This campaign, set in the Glorantha Universe, will largely adhere to the rules presented in the most recent edition of RuneQuest, the Bronze Age, high fantasy RPG. The precise plot of the campaign is TBD based on the number of people interested in pursuing it and their characters, though it will involve a more "Hero's Journey" feel than Aquelarre, and a more Bronze Age collapse scenario. Würm Würm, the Ice Age RPG is a quick to pick up game that is near to my heart and easy to run. While mostly historical (or close enough to what we can infer of prehistory,) this game features some light fantasy’s elements in the forms of shamanistic magics and animist spirits that wander the earth. This campaign will be set around 34,000 years before present; the final years of the Neanderthal existence and the beginning of the Gravettian culture, with the finer details being tailored to the choosing of the players involved.
