Getting an error message when I want to load my games. This is what it looks like. Will it go away on its own or do I need to do something?

Hi Zack! For immediate solutions, try: A different supported browser a private browsing window For the long-term solution, capture a Console Log ( Chrome ,  Firefox ), and file a  Help Center Request . A dev should be able to straighten out the issue. I could make guesses as to what that error message means, but they would just be guesses.

Seems just like what folks in this thread are experiencing.

Sorry you’re having trouble—this error appears when WebGL is not enabled in your browser. Dynamic lighting uses WebGL, a Javascript API for rendering high-performance interactive 3D and 2D graphics without the use of plug-ins. WebGL is available on most computer systems and is supported by Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, the browsers for which Roll20 is optimized. On Chrome and Firefox you’ll need to turn on Hardware Acceleration in your advanced settings. You can test whether WebGL works using  this link . (Also posting this to the other thread!)
Hello there, I have hardware acceleration enabled and yet still am facing this issue.

So, there appears to be an easy workaround to this issue (at least it worked for me on Chrome on PC). Simply click OK on the error message and then refresh your page.
For those who had this issue even if their Hardware Acceleration was turned on. Here's what worked for me: I turned it off lol
I'm suddenly having this problem as well for no reason. Was it a change to roll20? This is annoying. -__-

Hey folks, thanks for the reports! I'll be passing this information to our team but don't have info on a fix at this time. If anyone else is having this issue, I recommend trying the mentioned workarounds above at this time (turning off Hardware Acceleration or trying Firefox if this is happening in Chrome), and submitting a request to our help center so we can keep track of these issues and help with requests individually.

Wtf?  Funnily enough, it stopped working again regardless of how many Webgl settings I mess with. I tried everything and only Chrome doesn't seem to work-
I also turned it off in Chome and it started working again. I tried turning it back on and the problem resumed. I guess it's off for now.
The main issue with the chrome workaround is that performance drops by a noticeable degree when you disable hardware accel, in my experience. It feels like firefox is the only legit option for me right now.

We are going to try to combine all of this into one mega-thread. Please include any further responses in this thread . Also, I have provided a list of tests and possible solutions in the above thread while the Devs work to resolve this.
