Level 20 1-Shot - Tuesday (tomorrow) @ 11am Pacific Time They’re some of the greatest heroes the world has ever seen, but when they are plucked from their own time and tasked with saving the world – and possibly much more besides – one last time, will they be up to the challenge? ---- Epic-level D&D is, well, epic. By the time characters are approaching the level cap they become capable of more and more incredible feats and the party still begins to function on a level far removed from that of normal men and women. Barbarians will be capable of wrestling giants, Monks will leap to the rooftops in a single bound, Rangers become capable of taking down a battalion of Orcs in a single flurry of blows and Wizards tear apart space and time on a whim. In short, it’s something that every gamer should get to play around with at least once. However, this is something that most groups struggle to achieve. It’s comparatively rare for a campaign to reach beyond level seven or so, and even long-term games tend to reach some sort of conclusion in the mid-teens. Which is where To the End of Time comes in. This one-shot is designed to give players a taste of epic level adventuring without the need for two years of campaigning first. It can be completed in a single session. A party of 3-5 adventurers will make level 20 characters. ----- **About Me** My name is Victor (he/him). I am a Philosophy Ph.D. student who professionally DMs, and I use my philosophy background to inform my DM style. If you're into the rule of cool, roleplay, and moral dilemmas (does the party smother the dragon hatchling or risk waking its parents?) then I am the DM for you! I am well experienced with TTRPGs, fantasy settings, and DMing (8 years experience). I DM multiple times a week, constantly honing my craft. I often re-skin characters and plot points to better incorporate and immerse your character! **Applying:** Book the session on startplaying.games. If your application is chosen, I do a 15-20 minute interview on Discord with all players. This is to see if they would be a good fit for the game and party and to give the player an opportunity to ask questions. If all goes well, I will then invite you to the game on Roll20. https://startplaying.games/adventure/629d42e1817adf24f2aec65f https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/337539/to-the-end-of-time-level-20-1shot-lgbt-plus-and-bipoc-inclusive This is paid game and will require a payment to the DM of $20 for a 3.5-4.5 hour session.
