Tokens and a Touchscreen

I recently installed a capacitive foil film on my gaming LED TV to make it touchscreen. The touchscreen portion all works great. I can get into Roll 20 select options and tokens fine. Though I can select tokens it will not allow me to move tokens around the map, nor will it . The mouse and keys still allow movement. For some reason it is acting like it wants to move around the map (Nt the map layer itself just like you are looking around) and not move the token itself. I have also noticed that the ruler doesn't work with the touch either. I am wondering if anyone has come across a way to do this or a fix for it to make this possible using API's or some other external method. My end goal is to use tokens and miniatures. (The miniature would move the Roll 20 token underneath it so physical and online could play together. I have gotten miniatures t register on the touchscreen using copper foil tape.) I have tried several different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and Edge) I have tried spoofing it to make the website browser believe it is an IPAD, Iphone, Safari, Samsung systems, ect) Would appreciate any insight.

Hi Derek! Look up the browser extension Touch20. That seems to have addressed some difficulties with Roll20 on a touchscreen.
Just a thought:- If you intend to have miniatures (plural) to move tokens, the touch screen will be confused. Touch screen will be looking for one touch and move. Other wise its like having all your fingers resting on the touch screen. You may need the miniatures to only make contact when pushed down.

Seconding Keith's recommendation of touch20, although, as mel says, it is not set up to handle multiple tokens interacting with the touch panel at the same time. I've been looking at doing this for my in person group. Where did you get the foil?

Correct, the miniatures will rest on the screen in their place but will only register the electrical contact when someone is physically touching the miniature. The copper foil tape on the sides and bottom of the base will transfer the touch to the capacitive screen so once they let go it will be as if no one is touching the screen anymore. The Capacitive allows 10 touch points unlike an infrared screen that gets blocked and extremely confused. But will definitely have to playa round with this. thanks for the suggestion!

(Both were on Amazon). Copper Foil Tape Link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NRWYGRL?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Capacitive Touch Screen Foil Film Link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076J5J711?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I placed the touch screen film on the back of a piece of plexiglass directly over a case built around the LED TV so there is little gap. there are two fans on the side for ventilation. The miniatures will rest on the screen in their place but will only register the electrical contact when someone is physically touching the miniature while it is on the screen. I use the copper foil tape around a resin base or I am just using a plastic coin holder with felt on the bottom after so as not to scratch the surface. I can then use tack to temporarily put any token on that base with a small strip of copper taping to get it to register cleanly. The copper foil tape on the sides and bottom of the base will transfer the touch to the capacitive screen so once they let go it will be as if no one is touching the screen anymore. The Capacitive allows 10 touch points unlike an infrared screen that gets blocked and extremely confused.
That did the trick. Thanks all! Miniature Touchscreen Test
