[Suggestion] Soundcloud tagging

I love that we can add audio to our games, but it's hard to guess what keyword isn't going to deliver me a wall of dance electronica when I am trying to find a nice slow, empty bongo beat for atmosphere in a jungle crawl. This got me to thinking, perhaps we as a community could tag the files that we like, with keywords that can help other users find what they are looking for. Maybe have a "community favourites" tab, too, where we can specifically search by tag or keyword, what others have helped to sort. Is this possible?

Looking at the soundcloud API, there seems to be no need to maintain a separate tag repository; the soundcloud API can already query the tags. The VTT might be checking the tags already when you perform your search, I don't know, but the possibility is there.

some Soundclouder's have tagged or titled their tracks using "Roll20". If you include "Roll20" in your Jukebox search, it does tend to give more game-playable sound effects and background songs. Of course not every dungeon-game sound effect producer even knows about Roll20. Maybe there are some more generic tags people use? Like say maybe "VTT" or "virtual tabletop" or "RPG" or "Tabletop" or "games". I don't know if any of those tags help.

If Roll20 is pulling up results in the jukebox search, that implies to me that the tags are being queried against already.

yes I think it is evident that Roll20 Jukebox searches, probably tags titles and descriptions of the soundclouds. It may use soundcloud's own search engines. It certainly pulls up some sounds that don't have the word that's searched in the Title. When your Jukebox dropdown is on Sound Effects or Background Songs it limits the search results to a subset (it may impose that drop-down term on the search text or Soundcloud Category). I find the Jukebox usually works by-far the best when you search with the dropdown on Everything, and then test a number of the resulting sounds to find the best answer. Many times I looked for a Sound Effect and it didn't come up under Sound Effects (maybe improperly categorized on soundcloud's end), but it will come up under Everything, even though it is, effectively, a sound effect.
Please allow me to help with a small collection of stuff I have culled from Soundcloud. Warning some of the links may have lapsed.
