How to make a minion, not a character

Trying to make a minion to use in an existing, purchased content quest (because the purchased content had bits that were meh). The roll20 wiki (Help Centre) explains the difference between a character journal and minion, but I cannot locate anywhere how to create the minion version. I just want a stat block, not a full character sheet like a player or npc has, and give it an attack macro. Thanks in advance

What system and sheet are you using? If it is the D&D 5th Edition by Roll20 Sheet, you have the option to create an NPC sheet when you create the character journal.

I am using that character sheet. The options you show were not offered. Is that because I am trying to do this inside purchased content? I start at the Jounral tab. Click the plus symbol to the right near the top. It asks me if I want to add a handout, character or folder. I select character and the following interface pops up. I make a few changes to name and link a token and press save changes. It brings up the next interfact, with no option to not make it a character. (And the journal entry appears to the right.)

Not sure why the prompt isn't showing up, but click the cog icon to the right of spells. There'll be an option for sheet type on that settings page.

Having that dialog show up is a setting on the Game Settings Page. Try these settings:

Well shoot. I know it's a setting somewhere. I thought that was it.
