I was thinking it would be really neat if roll20 had something for people who are ready to play when you are. So i thought of maybe a que sort of deal might work. You could set whether you want to play as a PC or GM, then select the game you want to play, and then it matches you to a person ready to GM, along with other players who have joined. Just an idea.
