Hey folks! My name is Sean and I've been both a player, gamemaster, and a developer of RPGs for many years and I'm looking for players who would be interested in playing in a one-shot of my upcoming TTRPG Mythical Monsters .
Mythical Monsters is a setting-agnostic fantasy system with simple rules based on d6s, a flexible/creative magic system, and a focus on working as a team. For the one-shot, pre-made
character sheets will be provided for the sake of demonstrating
mechanics and teaching gameplay. We also have our own custom character sheet here on Roll20 which has all that you will need to play the game without too much difficulty. It doesn't matter if you are new to RPGs before or you are a veteran, anyone is welcome to join so long as you are respectful and just want to have a good time for a few hours. ONE-SHOT Synopsis The local regent King Patyr has been struck with an incurable disease that is slowly eroding his ability to see. The queen regent is expected to give birth within the next three days and he is desperate to be able to see the face of his newborn child. A rumor has reached the king's ear of a mythical beast located near the peak of the local mountain whose feathers are said to be capable of curing blindness. To accomplish this task, King Patyr has sought out capable individuals willing to answer the call. In exchange for accomplishing this task, these individuals will be rewarded with a King’s favor.
