Doorknocker not opening doors :( "validDoors:"

Hi all! I'm returning to Door Knocker in my 5e games and I'm having some strange issues getting it to work this time around. All lines within my map are converted appropriately using the API but for some reason when I use the DoorKnocker UI token and its associated macros to open doors, nothing happens. I'm trying to get it to do a simple door toggle but the API sandbox returns this "validDoors:" {"-Kq9ZS3J7GfD3lFS2VOY":52.15361924162119,"-Kq9JnPmqCIvXiNNj48f":24,"-N6rsdtXmdPvGqms9nJK":33} I've restarted the sandbox a number of times, and its not an API heavy game either.  For the sake of entertaining possible clashes, I also have the following scripts installed in the game: - Aura/Tint HealthColours - CharacterSheet - TurnMarker1 - GroupInitiative - GroupCheck - Apply Damage - MatrixMath (Dependancy) - Path Math (Dependancy) - Vector Math (Dependancy) - Door Knocker

It looks like you are missing a dependency called "Vector Math".  You might check to be sure that is installed.
My apologies, I missed that from the list, Vector Math is actually there!

Hi Jak, Sorry for the inconvenience. Are you using a grid on the map that is having issues?

Hi Scott,  I am using a grid, yes. The door in question is a poly line, 5ft in length and was drawn using the shift button for consistency. DoorKnockerUI is standing in a 5ft square, with the door as one of the boundaries of its space. There are no other doors within range. Grid setting are Roll20 default 5ft squares. I also attempted to re-establish door colours to double check I was definitely using the right colour, but the process didn't change anything, both my doors and the API settings are set to recognise locked doors as  #ff9900 .  Thanks for getting back to me.

hmm, ok, very odd. What door knocker command are you using? Based on the console log that you shared in your OP (thank you for providing that info btw), I'm pretty sure I know which group of commands you are using, but just want to double check.

Edit: Here's the exact commands i'm using and the console log after each. I'm using v1.213 !knock --key|toggle "validDoors:" {"-Kq9JnPmqCIvXiNNj48f":23.53720459187964,"-Kq9ZS3J7GfD3lFS2VOY":71.17583859709698,"-N6rsdtXmdPvGqms9nJK":34,"-N6rxI0YMtiR4LjVcDnc":34} !knock --key|open "validDoors:" {"-Kq9JnPmqCIvXiNNj48f":23.53720459187964} I've also noticed that occasionally " !knock --key|toggle" will turn my doors into walls which is VERY strange. Thanks for getting back to me on this Scott!

For the sake of being thorough, here's a view of my dynamic lighting layer. Here's some things I found. None of the doors would open The bottom door would occasionally turn into a wall when I used toggle. In case the lights were an issue, I used toggled the left door which turned both the left and right door into walls, even though UI is 5ft away from the latter. Cannot consistently replicate turning doors into walls with the toggle command. Not sure if it makes a difference but I'm also using Chrome.  EDIT: I tried Doorknocker on another map in the same game, and it functions. Both maps have identical map settings, but the one we're having difficulty with had previously been set to Cell Width=0.5 70*70 so I could draw 2.5ft wall intersections quickly. It no longer has these settings, and I installed DoorKnocker after doing my dynamic lighting but its the only additional variable I can think of. I duplicated the problem page, problem still persists. Additionally I just tried to toggle the left door, and a section of wall was deleted near the southern door, and now the southern door is a 5ft wide wall. When I've got time later I'll try to rebuild the map without tinkering with grid settings and see how I get on.

Toggle is turning them into walls? That sounds like you've got door lines drawn over wall lines. You'll need to have a break in the wall lines where the door is.
I've removed the doors so you can see where the walls end, otherwise I've not changed anything.
I've since rebuilt this map, and everything is functioning. The only difference is this time I didn't temporarily alter the grid to Cell Width=0.5 70*70, for the sake of snapping lines that were 2.5ft in length. For clarity though, the grid on the problem page was set back to Cell Width=1 70*70 before I even installed Doorknocker on this game, and has been set to 1 for the entirety of this thread. If that was the problem, it's certainly interesting. Now when I successfully open doors, the log reads as below, which I assume is normal. "validDoors:" {"-N6xLhWl_ZWJDDEusCE3":35,"-N6xLhWqsPRM8ruYm9dM":105} Apologies if this has been a bit of a hamster wheel of a thread, I appreciate the time you've spent replying to me here.

Huh, odd. If you get the toggling between doors and walls again, DM me a gif/video of it in action and an invite to the game so I can troubleshoot. doorKnocker should also work at any grid size, as long as there is a grid.
