5E pure text RP group LF 1-2 more members for party

Definitely would be interested if you're starting 9pm EST or later. I don't have a reliable mic so text only would be great... I've played all editions of D&D and pathfinder and would love to try 5E. I typically play spellcasters so usually a wizard but I might want to try an eldritch knight.

Wooo, I guess I'll write my thing here as well, since I am wide awake in the middle of the night anyways. I can fill, though for some reason, I feel like I want my character to have dragon heritage. I'll probably multiclass into sorc for one level, just to get the dragonborn appearance if multiclassing is aloud, or make a dragonborn based character. Or incoporate something dragon like into my character, maybe an emblem representing a past achievement of an ancestor or a fighting style specifically made to honor a famous (or infamous) dragon. I can go anything thats needed, though I guess I'd prefer monk, fighter, cleric, or any magic class except for druid... I really dislike druids xD

So, what I'm sort of going for is a style mix-up between Indiana Jones, Joe Abercrombie's "Grimdark," Firefly, and basically anything else where it's a bunch of down-on-their luck rogues trying to make it in the world. There's going to be lots of exploration, discovery, trickery, and interesting characters to roleplay with. This isn't a game of white and black, but shades of gray. It's about surviving under bad odds, when everything and everyone probably wants a piece of you. And the lot of you are just looking for that one last job, the one that's going to pay out big time, and you can retire from this shitty life. In terms of roleplay. think less House of Cards political action, and instead, dial up the PULP. Secret organizations, "good" organizations that don't have a problem with betrayal, and bad guys that you're forced to work with... because they're the least "bad" of the bunch. One last thing (sorry Sha,) and that's Dragonborn aren't available to play. I like to keep my dragons more "menacing monster of pure utter destruction" and less "a whole race's baby daddy." Hopefully that inspired everyone a bit!

I used to run similar 8 years ago, via WebRPG, and OpenRPG, before we had all of these cool Roll20 tools. Good luck with it, it makes for great logs, and once edited, players treasure them as their own living novels.

A lot of openrpg/traipse users are on roll20. I ran games on that vtt also. Use to hangout on mayhem gaming and blackstar mostly.
