Hi! Myself and a friend of mine have been playing D&D for years. We love meeting and playing with new groups, and are hoping to find some spots in a new long-term homebrew campaign taking place weekly on Thursdays and starting at 1PM EST at the earliest and 4PM EST at the latest. We love the roleplay aspect of the game best, are really flexible in our role in the group (we are always the ones that pick class last, cause we just like to play, we don't care so much as to what). We are a great mixture of serious, but also down for a funny, chaotic ride. We let others have spotlights, get invested in their plots as well as our own, and know when to goof around and when to not. A lot of our past groups have been on the quieter side, so we do tend to be the talkers, but we have no issue taking a step back for others as well. We are definitely the sort of players that aren't fans of min maxing, and will take something for the character rather than because its great. Flavoring things is also a lot of fun, and I love doing it. I do tend to write long backstories because I love to create and world build my character's life alongside the DM, so lore and the world are some of the most exciting aspects to me. Aaaand that's all I can think of. If you're thinking of running a game thats a mixture of awesome lore, deep stories, lots of roleplay, and a side of fun with a dash of rule of cool, then let me know! We would love to take part!
