Vault Question

Hello, I am a Pro subscriber and have a good number of the D&D books purchased in Roll20.  My friend has purchased all of his books on Beyond, and is currently DMing a game, this is fine for the folks who use Beyond but a few of them don't.  If I make a Roll20 game for players who don't use Beyond to create characters in using my books, and then have them export them to their vault, will they be able to import them into his game if he turns on that function, or will they be locked content wise to my game because they used my books (assuming they have the right subscription levels that allow this)? He made me Co-GM of his game to see if that would allow me to share books but, alas, unless I am the creator of a game I cannot share content, hence my question above. Thanks!

Characters in the vault are not restricted in any way.  A user can import a character from their vault into any game that has imports enabled regardless of the origin of the character information.  It should work just like you imagine. Roll20 is very big on making things work like they would at the table top.  If you went to a friends house that owned all the books and make a character on a physical medium, you'd be able to take that character and play it at some other person's table regardless of the books they owned.  =D
Thanks for the response!  This should make things much easier.  We had one fellow who had to manually enter everything for his race and class and it was a bit rough.
