Introduction Hey everyone, I am Gyram (he/him)! I am the Game Master of Oyitelli, and I am currently looking for one more player to round up my party of three. I have been playing D&D and TTRPGs for almost five years, and DMing for one year now. Our group currently plays every week on Saturday at 7pm EST. We use Roll 20 for dice rolls and character sheets and discord for voice/video calls. About the Game Welcome adventurer! Welcome to Oyitelli–the holiest of places in the most cursed of planes! Kangraba is a world ravaged by an evil God millenia ago, leaving nothing but desert infested with terrifying abominations called Jabagans . While you may think that nothing could prosper on this land, that could not be further from the truth! Thanks to the sacrifice of Oyimotola– the primordial Goddess of light, love, and peace–a part of this land saw the curse lifted, and thus the great city of Oyitelli was born! That’s where your adventure will begin. This world is a high fantasy, high technology West African-inspired setting. Magic and technology mix to heighten the life of the people (well except for wild magic, but noone likes wild magic anyway). Think of paladins, but with super cool flying motorcycles as steeds. The story istelf is lore heavy, and the tone is mostly light though there will be moments of darkness and tension. Your character will be beginning at Level 10 at the turn of our party’s next exciting arc. When Saturdays at 7 PM EST, session typically last 3 to 4 hours. Where Roll20 and Discord Voice and Video What We Provide A safe, respectful, friendly environment for all to have fun–this is a safe space for LGBTQIA+ and POC. Server on Discord (fun times and memes!) A DM style that prioritizes player engagement and enjoyment Effort: I spend a lot of prep time making sure everything is set up before the session Openness: I am open to basically whatever you want to do with your characters: no matter what, I will be working closely with you to create a good character you can have fun playing. What We Are Looking For One (1) respectful, kind, and fun player. We’re hoping to add another female perspective to our group and keep a nice balance in our party, though we are totally open to any individual who is kind, respectful, and loves D&D. While I do love introducing new players to the game, I need someone to create a level 10 character and then jump into the game–not well suited or fair for a total noob. You don't necessarily need to have played at this level before but a good basic understanding of the rules is needed. About the Party The party currently is: Fighter (Echo Knight) / Warlock (Hexblade) Cleric (Trickery Domain) / Rogue (Psi Knife) Barbarian (Zealot) The party really enjoys role-playing but certainly loves their combats. They are by no means murder-hobos; they love the story and plot progression just as much as the shenanigans. One very important thing: my party members and I are very good friends, and that's what I am looking for here–someone else to add to my whacky group of internet friends and have a great time.
