Make nocturnal darkvision dim less on towards the edges, and/or make it adjustable

It would be great to have a nocturnal darkvision mode that doesn't gradiently black out on the corners to properly see all tokens in range. or make that gradient adjustable just like dimming darkvision works.  Another tweak would be cool to make it that coloration disapears in area darkvision and dim light collide so the darkvision in darkness can be set to grey but the tint removed when darkvision overlaps with actual light making overlapping area clear of preset tint.
More specifically, they need to fix the math underlying vision and auras to make them the true distance independent of the grid type.
